1.Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and a limited amount of information automatically:

• Account information — when you register, we store your name, email address, phone number, and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
• Course progress — the lessons and quizzes you complete, so we can save your place across devices.
• Trade Journal entries — if you use the Trade Journal tool, we store the trade details you log (ticker, entry/exit, size, stop, target, dates, calculated P&L), any free-text notes you write, and the emotional-state tag you select, so your journal follows you across devices.
• Coaching & program applications — if you apply for 1-on-1 coaching or a group program such as the 3-Week Intensive, we collect the information you submit in the form, such as your name, email, trading experience, available risk capital, goals, and availability.
• Payment information — payments are processed by our payment provider (Square). We do not see or store your full card number; we receive only a confirmation of payment and basic order details.
• Session recordings — group sessions are recorded for participants' later reference. We ask for your consent to appear in these recordings on the application form, and again before the program starts.
• Usage & device information — automatically, we collect basic analytics such as the pages you visit, the page that referred you, and general device and browser information, to understand how the site is used.

2.Cookies

We use a small number of cookies:

• Essential login cookie — keeps you securely signed in so you can access the course and tools. The site's logged-in areas do not work without it.
• Analytics cookies — our own first-party cookie, and cookies set by Google Analytics, help us understand aggregate site usage (pages visited, the page that referred you) so we can improve the experience.

We do not use these cookies for advertising, and we do not enable cross-site or cross-device tracking features in Google Analytics. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, though blocking the essential cookie will prevent you from logging in.

3.How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide and maintain your account and course progress; review and respond to coaching and program applications; schedule and deliver sessions; process payments; operate, secure, and improve the site; and communicate with you about your account or a request you've made. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

4.How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, and only as needed:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — website hosting and secure data storage.
• Zoom — video meetings for confirmed coaching sessions, discovery calls, and group sessions.
• Square — secure payment processing for coaching and program purchases.
• SendGrid — delivery of account, password-reset, application, and payment-receipt emails.
• Google Analytics — aggregate website usage analytics (pages visited, referring page, general device/browser information). We do not enable Google Signals or ad personalization features.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Night Owl Trading Group or others.

5.Data Retention

We keep your account and course-progress information for as long as your account is active. We keep applications, payment records, and session recordings as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see "Your Privacy Rights" below).

6.Data Security

We protect your information using industry-standard measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, hashed passwords, and access controls that limit who can view your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7.Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to stop using it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA. 8.Third-Party Links

Our site may link to third-party websites, including trading platforms and brokers (some via affiliate links — see our Disclaimer). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.

9.Children's Privacy

Night Owl Trading Group is intended for adults. Our services are not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

10.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes may be communicated through the site. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
